Assuming you don't know this girl too well, asking her to go back to her place to hear her noises was not the best move. I kinda even see it as a subtle shit test from her to see what your reaction would be, but maybe i'm wrong (or not).
She gave you a ride home-good. Don't over-think this though. She might be a bit interested, you just need to develop more comfort with her.
So the verdict is to go for it, BUT take a bit more time to create attraction.
