all this talk about "the Game" comming out in the movies.. does anyone who when it is comming out... or for that matter if it REALLY is comming out...

Have they started filming it yet... have they got the fundings to do the movie.... i can't find anything about the movie comming out.

How do you know this? Do you have a link to a page to all this information?

Why are you worried so much? People know about PUA comunity. So we will have to change some rutines. So what? Also, what makes you feel that the PUA is bad? When a girl knows you are PUA, and a good one, it can only help you. Because, girls will pickup anyway, they don't need to know if you are PUA or not.
Oh yeah, there will be flood of AFC's. And???? Do you think every AFC is going to become mPUA? NO way. People will go, try the shit, and they will not get laid. Why will they burn down? 'Cause, sarging is about inner game. All the routines and shit are just a way to sell yourself. Have the inner game and outer will be automatic. Not many AFC's have the will to destroy their present life, to change themselves.
By the way, if a girl knows you are a good pick-up artist, she will also think you can treat girl good. Routines are funny and interesting, confident guy is cool. Girls of course want long term relationship - and I have not yet seen PUA who is angaist them. So, don't worry, be happy!

1.Nobody that knows something and is good at PU will post on this forum after more than 5000 AFC's come up and join all the forums they can.
2.The forum will fall apart. (looks like its already in the process becouse there are not enough good topic's)

My ideas:
1) Make a private forum which you can accsess only if at least 3 other people invite you to it and give you a password. Plus you need to make applications to get invited.
2) Make the new private forum really private by making a commision. For example. 30$ a year or something like that.

The reason for 2) is so somebody can really maintain the forum and make it look really good and have a good quality. And it also makes the majority of AFC NOT join couse it cost's money. So most of them will just go somewhere else.( I don't say anyone's going to invite them...)

men are usually too lazy to work on the inner game...it will take years and years... i do think it will create a 'fashion' and a paranoia for a while but after sometime it'll all be forgotten...

look at don juan casanova or marquis de sade...they've always been in fashion, and men always dreamed of imitating them...for a week!....

I am worried. I am relatively new to the PUA commnity, but I have been studying fastseduction101.com and I have already been gaining more sucess my first few atempts. I am worried that this whole community is going to blow up before I even get my feet wet. Girls are smart. They will be able to pick up on a lot of stuff. Girls think they want control. Of course they dont (just look at the way they react when you get them on their toes) but if they sense you are using this stuff they will be turned off. Does anyone have any info on the movie? Where did he intial rumors start from? I am praying it is either lowbudget, a total flop, or NEVER MADE.

Oh and AFCs will turn ito PUAs fast. If they study from a site and have 1/2 a brain. No one will learn anything from just watching the movie. I just hope it does not go into depth about patterning and anchoring. If it talks abou anchoring at all then that technique will be useless on any girl who sees the movie and same goes for patterning.

lol this movie is going straight to DVD. Seriously what kind of person is going to sit through this shit? Some bald guy ugly dork (Neil Strauss) wants to become a new man. Think about it, at best it will become a COMEDY, and it will crash and burn. Think about the characters involved in it plus all movies are shittier than the book itself. How many countless movies are out there that don't compare to the book itself. People don't end up reading the book because of the movie. Neil Strauss the game movie will flop straight to DVD. With D-C list actors. The scary thing only about this movie would be if they had A list comedian actors like Ryan Reynolds (Van wilder), Jim Carrey, Rob Schneider(his deuce part 3 I think went straight to dvd), etc ...I don't see this movie becoming a feel good flick. It is going to end up a damn romance/comedy probably produced by the guy who made when "something about marry" I don't know.

Thats pretty damn harsh man.
If the movie is done by a good director, some decent scriptwriters then it shall be fine.
The story line is great, the book was awesome so the movie has potential.
Whether it is good or not, PUAs the world over will watch it and the movie will make a whole shit load of money.

I think there is no reason to worry about the movie...even if the girls see it as long as you don't use any of those lines in the movie the game is going to be safe. Just play the game! HBs will not have a clue of whats happening to them if you play it right.

it will definitely require us to up our game, but at the same time, all of this is based on things that NATURALLY create attraction within a woman.

Regardless of if she knows you're working some game or not, it is as David D says, "ATTRACTION IS NOT A CHOICE."

And you know I would imagine that if some girl notices something you've said from "that one movie," and sees that you have much more than the movie offered the public (which most of us do..), she'll be interested to learn more and find out what "these PUAs" are all about.

We'll certainly need to look out for counter-game techniques coming out of the woodwork, however, since this will be so mainstream. It might become more important to be on the lookout for "anti-game" books and movies from the women, to see what they think about this kind of thing and how they look to counter it "in the field."

I think it will be liek a Hitch, Commercial and Comedy movie, That will only show some cool guys hook up with some nice girls.

OK guys, first off I don't think too many people who are already set deep in their ways e.g. older AFC men, Married guys, or most women will take this movie seriously. They'll brush it off as just another comedy or something similar. Who I see taking advantage of this movie are Highschool and College kids who are open minded and of course who want to get laid.

It's not as bad as some people are making it out to be, I agree with Shaft on a lot of what he's said already. I believe there will be many new faces to join the PUA community and hell, maybe even a few new Guru's will develop (us hopefully ). I agree that many people will be too lazy to put in the effort it takes for the kind of self-improvement that many of us are going through and in effect, will weed themselves out. We in turn, will roll with it, evolve and stay successful! We're already here, so of course we have a leg up on them, and come on...theyre AFC's!

However the one thing I'm worried about is a loss of a sense of community. I know I am new here, but I was lucky enough to happen upon other forums when I was in highschool. It was great at the time, rather underground still and a little more of an intimate group. I left them for a good amount of time due to LTR's and came back (after The Game had been out for awhile) and noticed the forums I used to frequent were FLOODED with AFC's who thought they were the shit after reading The Game and could criticize and be asshole's to everyone else... including the small percentage of guys who actually were PUA's. I didnt bother posting there after I read alot of that type of thing and hunted for a new forum. I ended up here, and I'm hoping I can find myself within that type of community I cherished a couple of years ago. I would much rather have a community of helpful and friendly people than a bunch of internet trolls (maybe some angry lesbians and feminists! who knows?) rolling through the forums and posting bullshit nonsense.

The movie may take a sense of community away from us, maybe it won't. Time will tell, but of course we will all evolve and I am looking forward to it like many of you are! I welcome challenges in my life and this will be a good one. Plus I enjoyed the book, so I will enjoy the movie too haha.

I'm all for helping new guys, especially if they're friendly and motivated, but perhaps a passworded community is not such a bad idea, something similar to Mystery's Lounge (with a name just as catchy! ) it's entirely possible, I'm sure there are guys here with the knowledge and the ability to design something like that. Hell maybe I could just throw myself into learning about web design for a bit (working it in around school) and try for it with the help of other willing souls.
