I'm Alex and I am a student in Manchester but I'm originally from Romania. As most of us, I read The Game, but aside from that I don't really have any PUA experience because, and I'm quite ashamed of this, I rely a lot on my looks..but i want to change that!
I have one first story:
This weekend some friends of my mate came here to visit him. Among them was this really cute girl who i think fancied me because she told me a few times that I am good looking. The problem is that I have a girlfriend back home and I didn't want to cheat..so nothing actually happened between us. On the other hand..I really liked her, and now I have no idea how to make anything happen because she went back home. Oh and btw, I gave it some thought and I think I'm ending things with my girlfriend because long distance relationships can't really work..in my opinion.
Any advice is appreciated.

Why would you be ashamed of the PUA community? This is not just about picking up women, but giving you the confidence and skills to improve your social life in many ways. You'd be learning how to deal with people, which is VERY desirable to master.

If the girl you met recently is gone, well, your options are limited. Phone, FB, or some sort of online game could be used.

If you think you may finish with your girlfriend, you may want to do that before trying to get the other girl. The reason is not necessarily because of ethics, but because your game suffers when you don't commit yourself to fully engage other women. By you having second thoughts about your current girlfriend, you may reflect insecurity in your approach to other women, which will end up in failure.

Reconsider your scenario, and make the decisions accordingly. Nobody can make them except for you.

But you understood me wrong, I'm not ashamed of the PUA community, I said I was ashamed because I usually rely on looks rather than technique to get women...and I wanted to improve on that.

OHH sorry then. Well, relying on looks is not necessarily BAD (not great either due to the inconsistency).
