I could have answered this just yesterday but it slipped my memory!

So, I say something to a girl that's not really a neg. For instance, I'll say "That's why I'm not going to let you do that"... then she goes on talking like a paragraph up of why it would be okay for her to do that. While I see most girls who aren't trying to qualify themselves wouldn't really respond much to what I said.

I percieve this as her qualifying herself. What do you guys think, i need a second opinion. Also, how should I be responding when she qualifies herself like that. Should I give her ioi's rewarding her?

Doesn't sound like her qualifying herself at all. I would in fact say it's a DLV depending on what frame you said it in. You're not there to make rules for her. Not directly anyways

The way I know this chick... I can say things very easily which make her insecure about herself and she goes on explaining. She does this all the time. What would this be? She obviously feels the need to explain/justify her reasoning to me because of a slightly-negative view I have of her.

She does this a lot. Most people who don't care about a person at all would not go out of their way to do this much explaining. She once sent me a 8 page text of a pointless ass story lol. Like the fuck.

This has some merit, I know it, I just can't figure out what.

If you feel that it does have some merit then it does. Just be careful to not overdo it you might get her thinking you're out of her league by miles so she won't know what to do if you ever dated or whatever. Just don't over do it making her feel nervous or whatever.
