So I hear a lot of people hating on canned game. They say it is just "training wheels" for being a natural. But I do way better with canned game and it allows me to improve other elements of my game easily. I never sit there and just run my canned line, I always tweek my BL and play with the responses. Without canned game this wouldn't be possible. I also create some of my canned game and using these successfully is it's own reward for me. Also if you watched and listened closely you would see I never do two approaches the same, I am always changing something. Natural game definitely has it's place in my book, but I normally open with canned material and it always gets good responses. Later I transfer to natural game. I do pretty well with my canned game. It has gone beyond "training wheels" for me at this point. I think discarding my canned game would be a mistake, it is working for me. Why stop what works? and on some level we all run some canned game, have something we repeat in our game. There is just different levels between totally canned and out of a book and 100% on the spot and original. Natural gamers what do you think? Routine users can post too. And anyone inbetween.

canned game works because routines are designed to get a certain reaction out of your target. But if i remove all the routines out of your game, then the game that would be left is your core, your true skill. In routine game, you are throwing out the routines and getting what you want but is that excatly what you are? You want girls to be attracted to you or your routines that create a fake you? Personel choice so i wont say do this or do that. My goal here is to explain the whole things.
When you are working on your routine stack, you are working on a false you. You are creating an image that may be not be the reall you.
And when you are working on your natural game, you are working on your core personality. You are not just improving yourself but you are improving your true self. And that is not just going to help you get the girl but make you a better, confident and socially mature person. Natural game is much harder but its worth doing as it offers so much more. It gives you a kind of satisfication,"the girl is not attracted to my routines and my cleverly planned steps but she likes me, she loves the reall me, without memorised routines, without my game"
and if your routines are working for you and you know you can use them any time, then why not drop them for a while and go natural, why not excercise your mental muscles? Why not work on a bigger goal?

the hatred for canned game is because it's far more work than you really need to be successful. The number 1 problem with guys is that they are shy pussies that don't go out and talk to women. Once you start talking to more women your inner game improves, and as your confidence goes up you don't need that bullshit canned material anymore. Also a natural gamer has FUN picking up women, a canned gamer works to get women.

IMO life is too short to be working on lines , stories and magic tricks.

there is nothing wrong with throwing out a joke or line .. but if that is the majority of your game you are likely to have inner game issues.

My point exactly. There is nothing wrong with natural game, I just find my canned game very useful.
Where to begin. There are still core values in your game when you use canned game. This is one of the reasons I like using canned game, it allows me to focus on other parts of my game, like body language. True skill=getting the number/kiss close. My personality is still there and is displayed with the routine. The routine only gets me through the first part of the line. After that my personality takes over. My natural game is still there, and I do use natural game and work on it. I do practice going in field and doing sets only natural. I still enjoy using canned game because it gets me results.
Yes, experience is a good teacher, but this works for canned and natural game. They both have positives and negatives, but neither is more or less work. I still have fun running routines. That has to be the most important part of my game is ensuring I still have fun no matter how I game, no matter the result. The part about memorizing stories and magic tricks is stupid, I never use those in field. That's a dumb stereotype aimed to AMOG Mystery Method students.

I feel very natural delivering canned material. It is an extension of my personality like a sword is the extension of a samurai's body. (I like martial arts, if it wasn't obvious by now.) This mentality ensures I am empowering myself to use my canned lines to their fullest ability. If you tell yourself "Canned lines are unnatural" then they will always be unnatural and you will never be able to use them. Commenting about opinion openers is pointless in this thread, but since you don't seem to understand some key things about them let me fill you in. Listening to someone is a DHV. Ignoring someone and what they are saying is a huge DLV. She could be a moron, or be a genius and expert in that area. Or a million other things. I have never gotten two opinions the exact same, only very similar ones. You will never know until you talk to her about it. And the only way to figure out where she stands is to listen to her opinion. If you go in with that mentality (I do not care about her opinion but I ask about it anyways) an opinion opener will be difficult to use, because you are not using it correctly. You must care about her opinion for it to be effective. This is something that is not easy to understand but when understood will allow you to opinion open with ease. Even a natural can care about another person's opinion. A real natural can be caring or uncaring and decides his mood based upon what the situation calls for.

Canned game is hated by some people because they evolve beyond the need of it. Or so they think.

They learn how to behave and even though they dont use other peoples material they follow the same pattern, more or less, they just learned to calibrate when to skip a step or go back and repeat one or whatnot.

And then they are oh so proud of their "massive inner natural game" that they start hating canned game, Mainly because if they can hate something, it must mean that they are better than someone, which means that they can happily live on in their own world.

The good ones however see their time in canned game as something they learned from and left behind, like their tricycle. They accept that they are more comfy on a real bike and it also gets them to where they wanna go faster and looks better...


Still, dont hate the people who are still riding tricycles, help them instead. We have all been young once, and if it makes people feel better and gets them laid, let them use it. It is what we are here for anyway isnt it...
