| You are clearly new to the game and even thought you may have read some books about the game, I can tell that you don't really understand the basic of pick-up.
First of, don't take it personal! You are clearly not the worst in here and that's why I am actually taking the time to answer you. Congratulations, you had the balls to open a set! By doing so, you are probably better than many guys who just posts in this forum and don't do anything to improve. Your opener's were allright. They did the job (They started a conversation) but you just couldn't do any transition...
Lets see this from a different perspective. When you are hanging out with your buddies and one of your friends starts talking with another friends that you don't know. What do you usually do? In this case, your friend did the opening part. He started the conversation with the guy. Now it's time for a transition in order to go further in the conversation. What do you usually do? You introduce yourself... Hi, I'm Matt, nice to meet you. blah blah blah...
This is a transition. You do it all the time with strangers in your everyday normal life, why don't you do it with girls? This has nothing to do with pick up, this is about social skills.
Let's have a look at your situation... From what I've read, the girls never rejected you. They didn't tell you to go away, they didn't tell you to fuck off, they didn't run away... They even answered you! They never rejected you, you did... You ran away... Without even trying. Forget the time constraint bullshit, just introduce yourself. Then follow up with whatever you can think of! Funny story, cool anecdotes, if you want to become a social robot, you could follow up with a routine you made up or DHV story (But you don't need to do it... I never plan what I'm going to say).
My point is... Do something! Whatever you do, it's okay, as long as you do something! Don't be afraid to come out too hard and be rejected. It WILL happen. Pick up is a game, sometimes you win sometimes you lose!
Wayne Gretzki once said: You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.
You get my point. _________________ Dear Optimist, Pessimist & Realist,
Just to let you know that while you guys were arguing about the glass of water...... I drank it!
