If you guys wanna shoot me for this by all means do so.

So last night my friends at a frat on campus had a basement party. And this is about 1.30 am or so. I'm in the beer pong room and there are 4 brothers playing pong. On the next table over there are two girls (an HB9 and an HB8.5) playing one-on-one pong (HB9 has the last cup left to hit and the HB8.5 still has 4 cups to hit). One of the brothers that I'm friends with calls me over and I thought he wanted me to play for him but that wasn't the case. So then I'm thinking how to open the HB8.5. So I go over and I say: How long have you guys been playing for (they had been missing a lot so this was a good neg)? She said a while or something like that. And then she asked me to take a shot for her and then I shit-tested her. I said: wait wait, before I shoot tell me something interesting/cool about yourself and she gave her name and said that she was a swimmer (giving name and listing a quality = 2 IOIs I think). So then I pause and think and go: hmm ok (in a non-committal tone). Then I take the shot and I make it - turns out that it was a massive DHV and she kinoed me by high-fiving me so I kinoed back/put my arm around her etc (there was compliance). Then I took my arm away (always be the first to back off) and then on her next turn I said: come on man make this shot. Impress me. Then she asked me to tell her something cool about myself so I figured that since she had already qualified herself I could qualify myself a little so I said that I played pool. Then her HB9 friend bounces the ball in for the last cup (the frat doesn't even play bouncing lol). Then the next part you guys will want to choke me for...so I manage to isolate her to the dance floor room and I kino-escalate and it seems to be going well. Then after a bit her friends have to go and so the HB9 cockblocks me. This is terrible because I built up a lot of compliance and got more than 3 IOIs and I didn't k-close - I could have used the are you adventurous/spontaneous/good kisser routine to close but Idk why I wasn't thinking arghghghghghghgh. I feel as shitty as Joe W. and Brady did on the PUA Season 1 Episode 4 when they both could have k-closed at the club but they didn't. The bright side is that the game is working and none of what I said was canned (natural game) so I know that I'm going in the right direction. Guys please give me your constructive criticism so that I will know to react to IOIs more actively in the future. I've just started the game for a couple of months but I feel that this is inexcusable. It was a fun set though and I will keep my head up and keep moving towards PUAdom.
