Posts: 3 | | I did the robbery opener the other night, and frankly it did not went all that well. When asking a woman about driver skills I got a "why", which lead me to explain about the robbery part. This just freaked her out and made her pick up her phone trying make an excuse for herself to get away. I think this opener only works if it is used in the right setting when some sort of attraction already is established.
What is your thoughts? Any advice would greatly be appreciated!

either that or...
craft your own opener with a dhv that is congruent, or practise the bank robber opener more,
or...
open direct, and save some damn time

Posts: 3 | | Yeah I would think openers that are crafted by yourself properly makes a better result. At least they can be made into something you can relate to. I only tried this one because it has been praised by so many on the internet, but it is difficult to tell whether they only do that due to how it sounds on written forums or they actually have been out fieldtesting it.

Location: London | | Wow, I'm surprised you've had no success with this opener, I love it and it never fails to get a conversation started. Having said that I have never tried it during day game I think it's a definite bar/club opener IMO.
I agree tho that it cuts thru the bullshit, the girl will only play along if she's interested, but that's true of a great many openers of this type, so if she's not feeling it you'll get a frosty response but at least that saves you time, right?
