i agree with this. good link, btw.
i have experimented with this. and what i've found, is i used to think it was "me" that wasn't worth looking at, but it wasn't. it was my "body language" and a large part of that is the way you walk...also stand, turn, gaze, move, etc.
women are body language reading CREATURES. half the time they have no idea what we are even saying, but they know how we move.
Yea, it's not so much even women, men even noticed the power center in the room as well. They really just move aside when I walk by. I prefer the slow walk is most settings, that way you don't out pace anyone thus never having to weave through people, they have to go around you without you having to move one foot off of your line. I am working on a game that does not rely on any canned material and this is definitely the first step. I don't ever want to run into a situation where a girl have already heard the same line from a guy. I've come to find that the best way to get attention without canned material is based on body language and and tone when speaking. The key is slow, almost boring slow.
Also, for people who are new and don't know how to open well, giving a compliment is a great opener, but you have to be very specific in the compliment, Every guy says "hey you are really hot/cute/beautiful" But few say "Hey I love your glasses/shirt/pants"
Make the direct compliment about a decision they made and not something they can help like eyes, lips etc.
Do: Hey I love your glasses. [thanks] I love that after I get bored of looking at your eyes I can check myself out in the reflection.
Don't: I love your eyes [thanks] (then anything you have to say after this is too creepy because it has to be more detailed which means you've been staring at her)
