Hey,

I am having problems with this girl who is clearly into me.

Got her number 3 weeks ago, and made the mistake to not initiate rapport, and went straight to asking her to come over to my place. She then agreed to come, but flaked at the lasts second. It is obvious that she wanted more rapport to be initiated before coming over to my place.
I then called her the next day, saying it was fine (after she repeatedly made excuses apologizing for not showing up), and I proved to be unaffected by it.
I then texted her 2 days later, asking her about a class we have together. She replied with "Yes!!. Anyways, how is your weekend going?". (She obviously wanted to start a conversation (note: that there hasn't been any rapport created yet). I then talked to her about some family issues im having, and she replied with some of her issues too. I then asked a last question, to keep the convo going, but she left it unanswered.

2 days later, I meet her in class, and she's still sending IOI's, and we exchange a few eye contacts, but still no rapport is created. (This girl is quite hard to relate and have fun with.. so it's a little hard for me to spark something up).

Now a day later, she still hasn't texted me to check up on when our next date will be (Note that after flaking, she reminded that we should hang out later in the week, but she still hasnt texted me to remind me of that).

I personally think that I blew it and didn't initiate rapport quickly enough. Although she is still attracted, I need to create rapport, and I can't really do that unless we meet again face to face... which means there needs to be a second date... so i'm stuck.
I could try to initiate rapport over text, but she ended the previous text convo without replying... so i will come accross as desperate if I try to initiate a text conversation a second time..

I'm tempted to just leave her alone for a good 2 weeks until she's the first one to initiate texts or verbal contact again...

What do you guys think?
