Hi there, new to the forum, but not new to the game

To put it shortly -

Met girl at friends house party a couple of nights ago. She was very flirty with me. Exchanged numbers and so forth...

This morning I txt'd her asking if she would like to come around mine tonight, and teased her saying that I didn't think she had the balls to do it. Now my intentions were to just talk, have a little to drink, and maybe watch a movie (first dates at my house have always went well in the past) however I worded it so the date implied sex, although that was not really on my thoughts. Because of this, I think I may have frightened her off a little, as her last txt to me wasn't very receptive. I think I can rescue it but don't want to act further until I have got a little advice. Maybe I'm looking into it too much....I don't know?

I don't know if it's just me but her last txt didn't sound very receptive. To be honest, I didn't play this one as well as I could have because she only lives 5 minutes from me, and wanted to get straight to the point. Should have dragged it out a little longer maybe?
