I recently got in touch with a girl in one of my old college classes (HB9) over Facebook (using the regular PM function). It went really well, she was asking me lots of questions, and the convos were paragraph long etc. with lots of IOIs. I eventually number closed suggesting that we get together at a certain venue.

I texted her about a week later and it seemed like her responses were cold in comparison. They were a lot briefer and I kind of had to push to keep the convo moving. (Also note that she was using Facebook for iPhone to send PMs so it's definitely not the fact that she's using a phone. In fact apart from having an avatar next to the message, it is essentially the same thing).

I've tried to arrange a meetup twice but she had an excuse for both (I don't know for sure if they were legit, but they sounded fairly legit. I waited three weeks inbetween each to create scarcity).

Her responses aren't completely cold, I mean there is a little wittiness here and there (they indicate some thought, like never just a 'yeap' or 'lol'), and the odd smiley face, but she takes always at least 25 minutes to a day to reply, and she'll usually kill off the conversation by not replying unless there is a question

I could try calling her but I don't really want to if she's gone cold/lost interest as my phone game isn't very good. It's been about a 1 1/2 months since I first got in touch on FB.

I'm guessing either she's lost interest or trying to play hard to get (I am quite good looking).


P.S. I'm gaming other chicks at the moment and don't have one-itis. I'm just trying to find the weakness in my game.

It happened something similar to me just a short while ago.
Simple answer, she got back with an ex. It didn't last tough - it never does on their side or ours - so she re initiated stronger contact with me spontaneously and asked me out herself - I kept playing her during the all time with low investment trough FB.
