...on a girl? I don't want to come across as a creep with this girl. She's newly single. A year or so ago I tried to see her but to no avail. I don't want to come across as a stalker on FB but then again what the hell does it matter. What say you guys. Go for it or stay away because she had her chance?

When she stops responding.

If they stop responding the first time, push it a little further, often they just got busy and forgot...or maybe you were boring but by saying sometyhing provocative can redeem yourself. If they still dont respond then I give up...but if I you hapen to bump in again in person, you can somrtimes start over.

find a different girl to post questions about. she is NOT AVAILABLE because she does not respond. i block girls from fb and delete all contact info so i cannot get in touch with them even if i want.. it takes a few months to feel like i got over the rejection but it works..

If I'm uber-keen I usually use the "3 strikes your out" rule. 3 flakes, 3 non-responded text messages, 3 "no's", 3 dates without a F-close, whatever, that's it give up. That's if I'm uber-keen, any other situation I'll move on earlier. No point flogging a dead horse, and especially if she's within your vague circle of friends it's a big DLV if you chase too hard.

If they flake on the first date, 80% of the time they aint keen, flake again on the second, 95% of the time they aint keen. I can only think of a handful of times I F-closed after a single flake, and I can only think of once, EVER, that I F-closed after a double flake.

also when she is going non responsive/flaky, welcome her to the deep freeze,
less contact on her, just ping her every now and then, eventually you pull girls out of the freeze and make new texting buddies, it's good practise (when I say every now and then, that means 2weeks+ default response to who is this? = the man of your dreams/prince charming)
