i'm a uni student and been talking to this girl more than any of the other girl in my halls, shes been flirting with me i've been doing it back. but then it stopped when her boyfriend came to visit, which is weird because she said she wanted to breakup with him and that i was the reason cause we got in a hot tub together (really pathetic reason).

now this is bit i fucked up on i told this other girl in my halls that i liked her and she told her to stop because she had a boyfriend, the situation got blew out of control, we had this hour long chat about it and i told her also she thinks i just wanted to get in her pants which wasn't the case. now she doesn't text anymore and she doesn't even glance at me, its just awkward.

is there anything i can do even if means just friends cause i have to see her everyday pretty much.

Ignore her. If she starts coming after you great, but don't expect it. Move on. Pursue other woman but in a less needy way.

Do you really want to be her friend? Why? So what if you see her every day, its your choice to be embarrassed, not hers.

Maybe you should've read his post a little more carefully. He didn't say that he didn't want to get in her pants, what he did say was that it wasn't the only thing he wanted out of her.

hey James, good for you for "manning up". Thats the right approach, and you will find the easiest way to "man up" is to have options with other woman. A weaker man would rationalize why this girl is "special" or why he should try to make it work with a specific target, f&*k it, moving on and having success with other woman is the best revenge.

You need to just move on and start enjoying other women and put her right out of your head. I am willing to bet that as soon as she sees you have forgot about her and you have other options she will be back, then it's up to you what you do as you will be in control.
