Do most people know about neil strauss, mystery, and pick up arts? is it a secret?

The game has been a best selling book and the pickup artist has been on tv for two seasons so yes: there are a lot of people who know about this world.

No, most people do not know about PUA. Maybe they've heard some things here and there about some dude in a top-hat who picks up chicks using bad magic tricks, but they don't really know about pickup.

I don't know how's the situation in America, cuz Im from Europe, and seriously NOONE knows here about PUA's. The Pickup Artist hasn't come on TV here, so thats pretty great I discovered the community, and The Game accidentally. I read a book, and they said that The Game was a book about gaming women, so I googled it and found all this shit.

Europe... not really, the book came out here too but it is not commonly known.

Anyways, if it is not interesting to you you will hear it and forget it.

Let me give you en example:

From the top of your mind, tell me one book title written by the bestselling female writer Muriel Barbery and explain the take home message from that book.

If you cannot do that, then you dont have to worry about girls remembering a book about a writer trying to pick up girls.

bbardot: you just reminded me about porn

I was out this one time with some friends (mixed group) and I was talking to a male friend about gaming. Anyway, he tells me to try the 5 lies game on one of the girls we were with just for warm up.

So I start the game with her and part of the way through she says this sounds really familiar. Then she proceeds to tell me she knows why its familiar. A few years back she read a book called 'The Game' that her mother (no sh@t) gave here as kind of a warning shot of what guys might try to do to get with her (She was an hb6 so definitely doable).

This is a very isolated incident because its the only time I've ever had a target know about gaming. Also, it didn't even matter cause I played it off like it was just a fun little game to keep up the conversation and both her and her friend were into me the rest of the night.

Moral of the story: Even if your target does know about it, just play it cool and act like you expected everything to happen the way it has and you'll be fine.
