Very funny on friends, but can it actually be put to use? Well I have used it a few times to good response and I have heard of people that use it a lot and get results.

I think it is based on your delivery of it, like a lot of things game related!

Would this therefore be a line you fall back on?

any line is a line you can fall back on. Yes this can work fine. But so can "Hi". You don't need fancy/funny/interesting/different openers to be funny/interesting/different. The vast vast vast majority of girls will give you two minutes to get her interested in you from a simple "hey how's it going" where they might be instantly turned off by a fancy line if delivered poorly

unless ur sure that shes a middle aged tv guide collector i would pass on that pickup line. besides your a brit, how you gonna pull off a joey, lol.
