So lately, Ive been having some issues with remembering everything Ive read. I havent even read a lot, but I have forgotten most of the stuff I was reading last night. It doesnt happen with normal novels, just any non-fiction stuff that doesn't use the imagination as much.

Anyone else had a similar issue? Can anyone else recommend a way to remember all of this stuff?

Read up on accelerated learning and memory techniques.

If you mindmap while you read and then review you'll retain multitudes more.

Review should happen over a natural decay curve...day, weeks, months...

If you forgotten it, while you have read it last night -> you are not really interested in PUA. That's ok.

If you have forgotten it, while you have read it last week -> you didn't practise what you have read. Therefore you will forget it.

If you can not remember:
- Mindmap:
- Find a structure that suits you:
For Example: MM
-consists of three phases, A/B/C
-every phase consists of 3 levels A1/a2/a3
- every level consists of 3 tips/tools

etc.

A lot of memorizing is just useful at the beginning of your PUA journey. Over time, you won't need to memorize almost anything at all, because you learn to internalize the material.

By "internalizing" material I mean that instead of relying on routines, and openers, you get to understand so much about human interaction that you won't need any canned lines.

Besides, women nowadays, have become really good at reading bullshit. So keep that in mind.

Now, I know that maybe I got a bit off the question, so let me give you some tips.

-Do not try to remember too much before going out to the field. Instead, learn one good opener, 2 good follow-up routines, and a good closer. Once you master and internalize them, then prepare another set of opener, routines, and closer to try. Not having too much prepared material can help you learn on your feet faster, which is a very important quality to posses in this field.
Over time, your arsenal of canned material will be broad.

-Another tip is to type in your phone your game plan. Do not type everything, just the titles of your routines. If you did a good job practicing before going to the field, just by looking at those titles you will be able to remember what they're about.

-If in the middle of your interaction with someone you feel you're running out of things to say, simply go back to your phone, check your game plan, and act as if you just got a text message.

Good luck :)

Ah thanks a lot guys, will definately look into taking more notes. I realise now that I should have been doing it all along.

I think the problem is also partly that Im reading several books at once, whilst not taking notes and Im just not remembering them all.

Out of interest, when you read a PUA book (or other, I've just started Influence by Cialdini), how much do you read per day/night? obviously you can't read too much or it wont sink in.
