Ahh yes, the dreaded oneitis. 'What is this sickness?', you may ask. According to www.pualingo.com "oneitis is a “disease” (hence the ‘itis) where a man is stuck on one girl, and feels that she is “the one”, usually to the detriment of having any romantic relationship with her."

Here is a general situation I read/hear about a lot regarding this painful illness:

Oh man... this girl I like/love has a crush on someone else and I want to date her. She is a HB10.3 and I love her personality. I rarely talk to her. She doesn't even know my name. Her name is HBSusieRottencrotch. I don't like other girls as much as I like her. How do I get her to be my girlfriend forever? Love is way overrated dude when it is not reciprocated. If you can't fuck 10 girls over a period of time, then simply learn the skills to fuck that many girls or sarge/flirt with 10 other HBs and your oneitis girl will lose a lot of power over you. Ironically, learning to fuck 10 other women usually leads you to sarge more than ten girls. The beauty of this exercise is that you will either forget all about your oneitis and/or honed the skills to actually win her over. Either that or you will find an even better/hotter girl for you.

Kind of a step away from PUA mentality but what I do to keep my mind of that certain girl is do as many activities as possible, i.e. join clubs, go travel, just to meet other people, and maybe hook up with other girls, preferably far from home. I had a severe case of oneitis, so what I did is I went travelling to Spain and Portugal for a month, staying in at youth hostels, meeting people

Indeed, I noticed many guys switch from onetis to despise, anger, hate, in order to get over the girl easier, this doesn't fix anything. If you do that it will leave trace in your brain, it will influence the rest of your sex/love life. It leads to drama and a lot of stress for everybody and generall won't make you feel good about yourself.

Just stay away, try to get close with other girls, I wouldn't stress the number here as much as the depth.

I mean, it's oneitis, it's more than having the heats for a girl. So in my opinion the way to cure it, is to get close with other girls on a deeper level and find out the first one is not the only one that touch your heart...as well as making you so fucking horny. You won't feel the same about any other girl for a while...But thanks god it will pass. Time is the key really.

don't be too impacient. It might take 2 months, 1 year, 3 years, it depends how smart you are about it. And how well you manage to stay the hell away from her.

also, if you don't do it yet. Hit the gym, enrich your personal culture, work hard at school do cool stuff, some traveling, develop your social circle, take care of yourself in general. It will make you feel good about yourself and reajust your standard for the better. With a bit of luck it will make your oneitis fall under your radar.

This is going to sound fucked up, but I assure you it works...

You need to jerk off while you imagine her fucking another dude.

I know, it's sounds insane. But it works. It's basically an NLP Swish technique on steroids.

This will break the pattern long enough for you to get yourself together and find other interests.

Basically you just need to snap yourself out of the thought bind long enough to change your attitude. This will only last for a day or so...so do it repeatedly while working on building your life with new interests.

I've used this technique on multiple occasions. It's best used for destroying jealousy, but also works for getting over girls.

I know it's weird, but do it!
