So I was having these thoughts due to recent experiences with new girls i met.
I met a girl at a party 2 weeks ago, we talked on the phone and she just laughed like 90 % of the conversation. We met, went really well :
Lots of kino, laughing, having a good time. at the end she said its too early for her to kiss (im thinking : Its never too early...) but we talked about going out again and bla bla.
My point is, that i've found myself being the only one who picks up the phone and calls her. When we talk she really seems to enjoy herself, but i dont find her sending me texts nor calling me after we tentatively arrange a meeting and asking whats going on, so i got a bit annoyed and decided to move on to someone else.
Now is this common behaviour? cause usually with girls I met, they did cooperate in this area.
I'm wondering if i should tolerate this with understanding?

Yeah why not tolerate it? It doesn't cause you any problems, there's no reason to create drama over that sort of thing, she'll just start feeling uncomfortably pressured to text you. Just make yourself a bigger part of her life now, she'll be thinking about you more and more ready to contact you

The only "drama" is in my head of course but sometimes I feel that my attitude should be "dont chase, be chased", and i know this doesnt happen in an instant but i always wonder about when the thin line between Calling and acting like the man and getting an image of neediness gets shattered. [/b]

as long as you truly believe she is not that important and you don't need her, you will most likely sub-communicate that, same in reverse, you will often have to be the first to initiate, it is our job as men to escalate, the only real rejection is she won't speak to you anymore or hang out with you

Why are you making a big deal of who's calling whom?

I think at all times, most women expect men to make the initial efforts in every interaction, if only to "test" his words and intent towards her.

Don't worry about it so much, just call her a couple of times and make her believe that you're in for the long haul, when she gets that idea stamped into her brain, you have won the battle.

Good luck.
