I was in the library, see this girl that i used to talk to, little awkward between us now, so i thought i would break the ice and as her for a pen , considering that i needed one and she was sitting at the table next to me

Me: Hey carly, do u have a pen that i could borrow?

Carly: no! (jokingly), i don't, your gunna have to ask someone else

Me: (I see pen on her table not being used) Welllll i'm just gunna take it anywaysss

...5 minutes later

Me: Thankyouu for the penn (I put it on her table)

Carly: your nott welcome (jokingly, half smiling)

Me: *Smiles* (and goes back to work)

-What could i have said back to that?

"i am not welcome huh?

I would probably say "You're not either, but I'm fine with it."
