| I was talking with a girl I've been picking up, and mentioned I was thinking about dreads.
She said they're gross, and I said "You're thinking about how dogs and hobo's get dreads, I'm actually going to get a kit. It's a clean as any other hair style."
The she flat out said she just doesn't like them.
By then I was thinking, it would have been smoother to not bring this up so early on, but I realized, it's good to give her an excuse to give you a congruence test, how else would you pass it if she doesn't?
So I just said "Oh yea, that sucks." And mentioned that chicks with dreads are hot.
Guess who qualified herself?
Now to the frame control part, at that point I said, "You know how we've been flirting and getting to know each other for a little while now? Well there's something about you I need to know."
"Yes?"
Then I just threw a "What's your favorite band?" at her.
"Modest Mouse. Easy."
I want to bring attention to the word 'easy' here. What does that say about her frame?
Either Modest Mouse was "easily" her favorite, or she meant the question itself was easy.
If the latter, then she basically just admitted to qualifying herself.
My point is, if you need a good frame, just use about the part of the relationship you're in. I mean, how could she not accept that frame, considering it's probably true. But it's always relieving to me to have that kind of stuff made clear.
