Just joined this website, because of an opener that really broke the ice between me and a girl in my math class.
It's a quiet class, so I passed her a note that said: "Hey, I'm Sam. I'm bored. Wanna play tic tac toe?" she laughed when she read it and passed it back after she wrote that her name was Amanda, she was bored too, but maybe we could play next time because she was barely keeping up with the notes.

I didn't reply cause I figured she was busy.

How do I open the next class? Once I get to know a girl I'm okay, but I'm terrible at starting conversation.

Just do the same thing you did last time whenever she doesn't seem as busy. Do the whole note thing again, as it seems "cute."

You could try going for a game of 20 questions with her, that's always a good start. Just make sure to keep the tone playful and funny, since that's key.

Say something like: "Alright, here are the rules: you must end every answer with a question. All answers are optional, but if you do decide to answer, it must be 100% honest. Got it? :D" Throw winky faces or whatever in there to keep it playful.
