I am about to start university for my final year and next week will be freshers week, full of niave first years hopefully! So I have been trying to think of something original (at least i think it might be) to open with during the first few nights when everyone is extremely easy to talk to as they want to make new friends.

Girl buying herself a drink at the bar...

me "wow, you havent persuaded a guy to buy you a drink yet?"

Possible response 1.
Girl- "no :/ will you buy me one?? "

To which you could reply " haha im not jumping through your hoops! you've just lost 2 points.."etc etc

Possible response 2.
Girl- " i'm fine thanks/I dont wan't you to buy me one"

To which you could reply "wow jeez...this is awkward..i wasnt actually offering! no offense but your not my type"..maybe beauty is common etc etc

What do you guys think?

I'm thinking it has potential somewhere..maybe with some tweaking. But it opens without coming onto them fully, whilst at the same time setting them up for disqualification and negs!

Personally, I like it.

Will try it next time I go out!
