i am going to university next week and i am saying goodbye to all my female friends
some of whom i am attracted to and flirt with
if i want to create a situation where 'goodbye sex is on the cards'
how should i play conversations with regards to youll never see me again?
should i play up the fact we may never see each other again

Just treat it like any other situation. Call a girl up, invite her to meet up with you, escalate, see what happens. I don't think saying "we may never see eachother again" will help that much, but that's just my opinon. It sounds too much like looking for pity to me. That doesn't mean you shouldn't just go for it.
