I'm just getting started with the game and am having a bit of trouble with following through till the end . I've been working on this HB8 for some time now and was able to get her attracted to me. We hanged out at a party today, and she showed many IOIs, including a lot of random touching, hair touching, and making future plans to hang out.

But, as she started with the excessive touching, I basically turned into an emotionless vegetable... My excuse was that I had a massive headache. That was kindof true but definitely not the reason. Then she started showing IODs and it all went down hill from there towards the end. Anyways, it was bad and she went to eat with some friends after that.

Should I do something to fix this, or freeze out? Ugh, feels like all that hard work kind of sank in one night.

SHe was giving you IOI's, and you didn't respond/reward her for that. That's why she was losing interest. Now it is your turn to react. You have to show some IOI and reward her. Freezing her out is not going to work

Ask her for a drink, then you kino. escalate, etc.
