Don't know what the first text I send her should be.

Met her at a hot tub, her and her roommate.

"Hey Jessica (or HER name. If you gave her a nickname when you first met her, thats even better) make or break question: smores or cheez-its?" (Credit Sinn, I think)

That's my favorite first text. You can make the 'make or break' question about something you guys talked about when you first met, but if not, the 'smores or cheez-its' works fine. If she asks why, you just say that you and a female friend of yours are arguing about. like "my bff emma says smores, but i think she's crazy!''

Then, you can do a roleplay where you marry her or divorce her depending on her answer....

Call her!

Not gonna tell you what to say, but calling is always best...

reasons include (amongst others):
dhv - confident and eloquent
easier to get a response - if she answers she will respond to the first things you say so no chance of a random text

And yeah, you can call her, but she's much more likely to not answer a call than a text. Which one you choose should be based on what you think of her and what she will best respond to. If you need help with that decision, drop another post with some adjectives about her (shy, ditzy, young, talkative, etc). Also your experience with phone/text game matters. Play to your strengths.
