The only sort of game that's somewhat helpful is the escalation ladder thing, or just the fact that you should be touching them and being close to them and being loud. make her know you are there, suck her into your world

or things along those lines

just basic stuff like body language and things like that

conversation should never be routines and stuff...the issue is if you practice them too much they get ingrained to the point where 'routines' are natural for you which isn't where you want to be...especially with relationships..wow i can't even imagine how you'd manage to keep up a relationship

But yes, the MM is best learned, understood and put into the back of your mind to give way for other things, like being a real person.

Everybody loves to bash on Mystery but remember that just because you start at a higher level of confidence/PUAdom/insight, it doesnt mean that it can not be helpful to others less fortunate.

I dont like sparkling water but I would definately use it if I was stuck out in the desert.
as in people who want to kill themselves and stuff...

sure i have some go to responses to things i hear quite often

like the whole where are you from...i've answered that so many times that i have a response that comes out on it's own all the time...i guess you can kind of call it canned...but the thing is it works for me because i find it hilarious to say

Unfortunately PUA like many things is not exact nor will it ever be exact. Some techniques will cater to the needs of some populations while neglecting the needs of other populations. Every man is different and what may help one man in his quest of self-realization and comfort may not help another man of the same quest. The goal of PUA should not be in general women, but what specific circumstances lead to these moments of self-realization? Sure I’ll hear tons of rhetoric about get off your ass and do it yourself, blah blah blah. The same things I hear from crazy old libertardian nut jobs that have no business talking about politics. Every man has different goals, desires, and ambitions. Why assume that just a few methods will help any man? Truly the best way to be successful in any arena is to try things out on your own, and search for those with similar experiences. I’m much less interested in what Vin Dicarlo has to say and am much more interested in the millions of other self-realization success stories that never get heard on a daily basis. There are tons of materials out there saying the same thing with a slight tweak, but none really saying anything.

Way I see it, if any method helps a guy then its good. Guys with no confidence can use routines because they have been told "hey, these have worked, have been proven, and can help you." So you use the canned material, and it works! Youre moving and talking in a certain way because someone has already done it before, so the risk is lower. You get a number or two, hell maybe a kclose, and all of a sudden you have confidence. And isn't confidence one of the biggest goals with this stuff? Yeah, canned material can become bad when it becomes a crutch, or when guys try to change who they are or say things they don't want to say that end up sounding forced and awkward. But hell, if it gets the ball rolling for a guy, I'm not gonna harass them about it.

I think anybody who learns a bit about the major PUA "gurus" knows that some of them are fucked up as people. It doesn't invalidate every thing they've ever said or done, though. Material just has to be approached and used with a bit of common sense.

I agree with harder to find, but for a newbie he will have more confidence going up to an ugly chick vs a hot chick... When i say ugly i mean a regular girl...

I didn't pose this rhetorical question in a figurative way; I meant it literally. Nothing in the World is "ALL ABOUT CONFIDENCE". Really? Will confidence allow me to go up on stage and play a Mozart Concerto on the piano? Will confidence help me survive a match with Brock Lesnar? Along with confidence, there's got to be a method. And the method outlined by the OP is rather thin, unorganized, and without base.

Telling newbies to be 'confident' about what they've been doing (being themselves and sucking with women) is like asking them to repeat their failed processes with confidence. If some guys have some basic skills and they just need a little cheer leading support to succeed, fine . . . but even then, they're limiting their potential.

Be yourself-shitty advise. Because most people don't know who they are and what they want. So you're telling them to be someone they don't know. If they did, this knowledge + confidence would solve many problems.

Better way would be be your best self, but it also is too vague.
