Anyone got examples of open ended statements you can throw at me? As many as you can give me.

There's one in Dutch which I cannot perfectly translate in English but I use it quite often. It's something like "You're quite the southern type". Instead of Southern I use the Dutch word for fire in the sentence, because it very much means the same as passionate in Dutch.

But you can pretty much make an open-ended statement out of anything.
Girl: There was this one time at band camp when I put my flute in my vag.
You: So you are the musical type. I like.
or
You: Having a musical vag is a clear dealbreaker sorry.

Good shit- I am trying to get away from questions and go with open ended statements....should be alright

basically start something off with you or you're and make a statement usually you will get a response depending on her interest level / how social and extroverted she is, will give you the detail and length of response, assumptions and cliff hanger statements work pretty well
