Approach Anxiety is actually good. The reason you feel it is because your subconscious feels like the odds of you having success is low. So our subconscious saved us time, energy, and rejection. Once you learn techniques and what to say, the anxiety should get smaller and smaller. Once you can focus fully on the interaction and not your feeling, you will be good to go.
So to get rid of it we need 2 things.
1. know the basics. know what your going to say/how to say it/body language etc.
2. practice. the more you get use to just opening, the less you feel AA. So accept the feeling and plow through it.
Good luck fellas and don't beat yourself over the past.
Exactly.. instead of saying it's approach anxiety, it's becomes approach excitement.. which changes the dynamic of the whole situation and increases your confidence/inner-game and your results!
