So I finally have a date tonight with this girl I've been chating up online. My question is, is a rose on the first date usually a good idea or a bad one? I was thinking of making a game out of it.
I meet her with the rose, I take her in the park, but I don't give her the rose, I just play with it in my hand untill she asks "Is that for me?" or something like that. Then I would say "I don't know, what's in it for me if I give it to you?". She suggests something(probably lame) then I say "How about a kiss?" and when she hands me the cheeck, I turn her head and go for the lips.
So what do you guys think, any good, or should I just forget the whole rose thing?

Personally I don't like it. She's met you online, she's bound to be slightly iffy about the whole situation as it is.. and if you turn up with a rose.. I just can't see it having a positive reaction mate.

Yeah, I was afraid that it would make me seem needy or way too into her, was just hoping I might turn it around... Oh well, I'll save it for some other time, when I'm less desperate and don't care about getting the girl so much.
At least I have the cube, our secret weapon. Come to think of it thats pretty much the whole reason why she agreed to go out with me, so I can cube her, should I be worried about that? Is she only interested in personality games and doesn't give a rats ass about me? Crap, I am overthinking it again aren't I?

You're definitely over thinking it! Girl's like guys who are themselves and aren't trying to be someone else to "impress" them, and they can usually tell when this is the case.

She's agreed to meet up with you so you can show her The Cube? Sounds interesting. Seriously though, just be yourself and try to relax. If you insist on doing the rose thing, then wait until you know her a little better and have seen her a few more times, work out what kind of girl she is and if she'd find something like that sweet etc etc.

That "just be yourself" song doesn't really work for me. If I would do that I would never get another girl again for the rest of my life(except maybe a ugly, fat, stupid one). You see "myself" is a complete loser.

unless you dont want to change "yourself" which by the sounds of it you do...
i suggest you start with your attitude toward yourself. VIKINGs are boss, they dont give a fuck what people think about them. people will like you more if you like you more.
