Do the PUA stuff work if you're not so well off.

Hello everyone
I have a newbie question i tried looking into some previous post but couldn't find it., So i have been reading this PUA stuff lately. and i have a question about something. So i work as a store clerk. I don't make a lot of money. i make just a little over minimum wage. Isn't that like a big DLV to HBs.

So let's assume that i #close a HB9 or HB10 and we meet on day 2 and we're having a conversation. She asks me what do i do. i read in Styles book that you have to be prepared for a situation like this. have a cool answer ready(make what you do sound cool and exiting). I might make it sound like the coolest thing in the world. But it doesn't take a lot of brain to figure out that a job as a store clerk is not something cool and it pays pretty close to the minimum wage. How do i overcome this problem considering that i don't see any major improvement in that aspect of my life in future.

Should i just stick to HB 5 or HB 6?(I obviously got into the PUA thinking that i would be getting a lot of HB9 and HB10 when i am good at it). any PUAs who've had to overcome a similar situation. Please advice me on this.

Thanks in advance

It's a matter of how you think about your job. To me a store clerk is a great job, cause you've got a lot of communication with people and usually you can sit down and read a book, which is perfect for uni. Come up confident, add some humour to the description and you can talk freely about your occupation. If you've got big goals for the future, that is what you should talk about and present your current job as a step towards them.

Also, a girl I know gets hit on a lot by people with money, but she fell for a construction worker, who also earns close to the minimum wage. She still can't take her eyes off him.

Yeah- I can't count the number of "players" out there who have no car, no job and live with their parents.

You are not defind by your job. She does not give a fuck and neither should you.

I did a lot of my initial training when I was out of a job. It is all in your lifestyle and attitude. Money helps but it is not impossible without it...
