Hey gang,

Essentially there is this new girl in town (that I know through a girlfriend and subsequently this other dude, we shall call him Jock, also knows through her).

So the story goes I hear about it and am on it like bubblegum to hair and end up meeting the girl the next day. That night the common friend also tells me Jock has dibsed (or shotgunned) this girl among his friends. This doesn't really phase me that much at first - its all fair game if I'm not his friend.

Anyway it all goes ok that day, not amazing because all my beta mates knew what I was doing so stood there staring at me and trying to listen in - especially my mates gf... cockblocking bitch kept butting into the conversation and killing the vibe. I think the girl picked up on it too that I'm known among my group as being the "sleaze" to the girls and the "chicks" guy with the blokes.

So anyway tonight, she is going to be at the bar/club I'm heading to, but so is Jock.
Jock is essentially as my name for him suggests, a bit of a jock, dickhead, alpha male etc. and in the circumstances I'll be in I won't be able to do too much AMOGing and she will most likely be stolen away into his group which is ok by me, I just don't like hanging with those guys (all ex school mates and some uni mates).

So what is the general consensus?:

To try jump on it real early and then run it like I've been on it from the beginning when he tries to butt in?
Or to let it run its course and steer clear and try another time when I'm less likely to be DLVed?

Chur bo, In my opinion demonstrate your ALPHA

Sometime today I discovered its better to demonstrate your Alpha then to out-Alpha someone because only betas get intimidated by Alpha, what ever you do respect that he could be an Alpha but also demonstrate that you are Alpha! (in your own way)

Yeah cheers both Dilaks and Don Draper. Dilaks I found it amusing that I read your post and was able to pick you as kiwis from your chur's haha.

As it played out I went out very late due to other commitments and then I had other girls I knew hanging off my arm all night either way and didn't get a chance to game the new girl so it was all good.

Thanks for the reassurance, it should have been obvious but being new to all this it's very easy to fall back into old patterns.
