I have done about 20 sets this week. Most day, some night. Right now- just got back from a tavern with friends, approached a 6 set (5 girls, 1 guy) and a 2 set. I'm having trouble keeping the group interested. I realize some nights you're on, some you're not but it is bizarre, I used to be a charismatic person! I even started a fake cult in college because my friends and I were bored one day. However- in both cases, I normally got some IOI 1v1 but the higher value women in both sets (9+) seemed to pull a mother hen on me.

One gave me shit tests, I threw negs. The other gave me the board routine while I talked with her friend and even asked me if I was going to hypnotize them...wtf, nlp? really? I threw negs. e.g. "Holy shit is she always like this!" Laugh blah blah...I realize I can be a bit polarizing- if a girl likes me she REALLY likes me, or doesn't...I don't have a lot of middle ground.


My problem is I seem to do a hell of a lot better 1v1 then in a group dynamic for some reason.....anyone have this issue? Day game is essentially 1v1. I could have easily got the second girl going, we were at least C2, but I just ejected. I tried to isolate and sort of ended up there by default, and just chatting with my targets while the friends checked their cell phones, or talked amongst each other.... or gave shitty glances......Actually I am kind of frustrated with the whole week....anyone got any advice because I am working my ass off and yielding hardly anything. Precalibrate? Look for IOI's before opening? Just stick to day?

I noticed this too, when I go to bars and clubs, it is harder to work the set properly, mostly because I think, sice it's a bar basically every guy in there is in to pick up whether they want to admit it or not and I think, naturally, girls have their defenses higher because, lets be honest, they probably get approached alot in one night. This is why I like daygame way more, not only do girls not expect any approach, it also takes alot more balls to go up to a girl mid-day, both sober and game.

Now if your having trouble when gaming in sets, you might wanna have a wingman helping you if you dont already have one. Hopefully this clarifies a little, Im pretty new and dont know a shitload but I try my best .

The problem is you have to win the set before you bring in a wingman. Maybe Ill stick to day game....

Actually I think I had an epiphany. It is situational. 1V1 I am very direct, so the woman responds. Day game CAN be more direct because the defenses are lower.

Night game should be indirect until you isolate and go 1v1. Since their defenses are up, indirect is the way to open and then gradual direct.

This entire process is still frustrating as shit, but whatever, Ill keep pushing through. I do still dislike going for a group dynamic but since it's out of my comfort zone, Ill do it.

I think I am also skipping A2 and A3 and going from A1 to C1...which C1 or above works well in 1v1, but you have to generate some attraction.

I am doing a pub crawl tonight- Ill see how this new strategy plays out and post the entire week in my field report.
