So I was handing out fliers today for a student organization. I hand it to this cutie who gives me IOIs. I'm generally not a shy guy but I just tend to be "friendly" so as shes smiling and walking away, she says "You smell so GOOD!"

My response: "Ahh well thank you, so do you :]" big smile.


For some reason, everything I seem to read in the books disappears when Im in the spur of the moment. She just smiled and walked away.

After she left I was thinking of all the thigns I could have said, the best being... "Well I don't normally do this, but you can come close and smell me a little better if you like "

Listen dude, she said something to you, and you replied with an answer longer than "Thanks!" Be happy about that and do better the next time. Treat every set as a success or you won't be as excited to get into the next one. NEVER beat yourself up over something that happened in the past, focus on what's going on NOW.

Also you apparently smell good. Can't beat that for a confidence booster.

Trying to memorise everything you read in the printed pages, won't be on much help. Especially, when things are going according to the plan. You'll just come off as an awkward guy in the situation.

Be happy, that you gave her a reply which was more than a casual thanks, and next time work on thinking on your feet. It's a great skill to have, in pick-up, as in life.
