What do you mean by "too nice"? I haven't heard of this problem, unless you're talking about being put in the friend zone.

I don't think 'nice' is the right word. If they treat you very 'formal' and polite with a flat affect and no emotion in their voice tonality or facial expressions that usually means they have no romantic/sexual interest or desire.
