So, I picked up the Stylelife Challenge at Barnes an Noble ages ago, I kinda fell out of the whole Game scene but I'm back now and promised myself I would take it seriously this time and make progress.

I decided I would keep a journal on here as I progress through the 30-day Stylelife Challenge. I've read similar "journals" and was really impressed with the support of the community and I think you guys could really help me out and give me the motivation I need to see it through.

Keep in mind if you plan on doing the challenge it may be best not to follow the post as it says to not read ahead. So, on with the post...

Day 1
Mission: Talk to 5 strangers. Any kind of small talk will do.

I work Security at a hospital for one of my jobs so this was fairly easy. As I do this quite often to cure the boredom or keep myself awake. The Challenge says I can talk to anyone, old men, old woman, whatever. I told myself I would make it a point to talk to hot chicks, but I was surprised at how difficult even this simple challenge was for me. I got through it and talked to just anyone I could. I talked to around 10 strangers. This challenge definitely put some things into perspective for me and showed me that maybe it's not as easy as I thought...

Day 2
Mission: Talk to 5 strangers. Make eye contact and write down their eye color.

Talked to ten strangers over the course of 2 days, as I was unable to continue from the book. 7 Brown eyes, 2 Greens, 1 Blue. Making simple approaches to unattractive women even men is still a little tough for me. But it I noticed it can be a breeze if I'm just in the right mood. I continued to repeat this challenge over the course of a week or so. Making contact with around 30 people. I've had to split the challenge up due to a hectic work schedule and leaving town for military service.

Day 3
Mission: Call random people over the phone and ask them to recommend a movie. Get 3 movie recommendations.

1. Message in a bottle. 2. Forest Gump. 3. The Sandlot
This mission aggravated the living shit out of me, between the 300 answering machines and 3-4 weird bitchy people who acted like it's a felony to ask a question over the phone. I was about at the end of my rope. However, the challenge did end with a very nice elderly man who was actually a joy to talk to.

That's my start for now, I'm about to clean up and go to the gym to do my next challenge. Will keep you guys posted. Any feedback or support is appreciated.
