So I met this girl on a social we had and long story short...got her number and have been talking to her for like a week (but I haven't been replying right away so it's not a ton of conversation).

I heard from a friend that she had a boyfriend (my luck has been bad with this lately) but she never mentioned it so I figured I'd let it ride.

Anyway, a little background on the most recent convo: I had to renew my passport so we were talking about traveling and I was kinda giving her future projections of us doing things (I just read about it in another thread and realized that it was kinda what I just did without knowing it) like going to Italy and stuff and then gelato (the ice cream stuff) came up so I thought I'd see if she'd want to go get some sometime.

*She's also been kinda flirty too...so idk

Me: Well its no where near gelato, but we should go to the new high five froyo place near towers sometime this weekend!

Her: Omg i went there last week with my bf...sooo good! And yeah ice cream is my guilty pleasure so i can never turn that down :p


This is the first time she mentioned her having a bf and I'm not sure how to respond to her...

Any suggestions??

Seriously though, just bail out shes either just enjoyed chatting to you and doesnt think anything of it or is playing you and enjoying the attention. Would just give her a friendly reply then leave it at that

any interest she did hav she losted other wise she wouldnt have mentioned to boyfriend, unless it was an accidental slip of the toungue which im douting tbh

Last night she was supposed to go out but then was like Oh..I didn't end up going out. When I asked why she said "my bf and I got in an argument and I had to fix things."

I was like that sucks...plus some other stuff and invited her to hang with me and drive around...and she replied "lol yeahhh. and thanks but thats probably not the best idea right now =/"

If you still think I should leave it...it's a done deal.

She just told you she makes a conscious effort to be with her boyfriend. Enough to want to fix things with him.
