So I thought of this opener.

Say 2 girls are sitting or standing at a bar, or wherever. I approach and say
"Hey, I'm here to pick up girls. Who wants to volunteer?"
Then I turn to one and say "Can I try with you?"
If she says yes, then I physically pick her up and lift her in the air (I'm in shape and won't be a problem)

What do you guys think? I intend to use it tonight!

If you pull it off in a funny way, I'd say that'd work, especially in the right SPAM. Shows confidence, and a sense of humor.

Yeah, what were the results?

Also, I'm wondering where you'd go after that - you "picked her up", but that doesn't really lead into any conversation, you still need to complete the opener.

Hmm not sure if this would work. If you don't deliver that opener right, and try to pick a chick up who happens not to be too much fun, well, she might really show you her bitchy side.
