I used to be really attached to strategic openers and "canned openers"

but now i realize that they are just bandages for a deeper wound.

These are alright- and I would agree with previous posters, opening isn't THAT big of a deal. You could say.... "Hey real quick, you ever heard of milk with ice?" It's a conversation opener- makes a woman operate on instinct - and gives the impression of a false time constraint. I would of course have a story to go along with it..

Actually I might just try that one.
