Friday 2nd September

Today was my first time out sarging with Jackal and the boys in a month due to work so was feeling a little nervous. However, before I arrived I attempted state control by listening to my favourite songs on my ipod and deep breathing. I found exercising before going out for a sarge also helps, though this was why I end up late half the time . I arrived and met Jackal and our newest member Subzero at 9.30 around Broad Street. Straight away Jackal made me approach a blonde and brunette HB 9s across the road with Subzero there to wing me. Unfortunately we couldn’t stop them and I presumed this was because I didn’t project my voice enough. It was my first set in a while so no big deal.

We headed off to the Slug and Lettuce and I had a chat with Subzero whilst waiting at the bar. He’s a really cool guy and managed to get a number before I arrived which is great . After drinks, I bumped into the blonde and brunette two set who I sarged a month ago. I managed to get the blonde’s number and was still texting her but hadn’t managed to arrange a date yet. I have to admit that I got kinda lazy and didn’t wanna sarge new sets because I wanted to improve on this set but its bros before hos and I wanted to help wing Subzero so went off into a few sets with him for a while. He went into sets without Jackal even pointing them out which is amazing, I can tell this guy definitely wants to learn and improve.

One four set Subzero went into particularly impressed me because he was controlling the set really well with his stories and used Neil Strauss’ five question game. I was always thinking of using that routine but never got round to it . We kept them occupied for around five minutes before Jackal said we had to go because my blonde and brunette set was leaving soon. I wanted to stay in the four set and watch Subzero do his thing because I was really impressed but Jackal didn’t want me to lose my set from before. Subzero unfortunately couldn’t number close, though I’m sure he could have if we stayed longer, so we left to join my set.

They were about to leave so Jackal told me to arrange a date for next time and since they were going to be at the Slug again next week, I decided to arrange it for then. After a few quick hugs we join Jackal. However, he wanted us to have an instant double date with them at Weatherspoons on Broad Street so I quickly ran to find them and get them to join us. They decided to join us without much persuasion so off we went. We had a drink and generally just chilled out. I could tell the blonde was still interested in me but I couldn’t seem to find a way to escalate. She is busy working most of the time so I can’t seem to find a way get her out on a date. I’ll be able to catch her on Friday with her friends again so hopefully I can arrange something then.

Overall I didn’t do much tonight because I arrived late, however, it was great to meet our newest member Subzero and watch him in action. He opened every set Jackal pointed out and even opened sets on his own. I’m sure I’ll see more of him in the future and it was a pleasure sarging with him. And thanks to Jackal for pushing the double date for me .

FR: 3rd sept 2011

Well it's been a while, so how are you all, let's begin.

I can say that today that I had quite a bit of AA and was feeling a bit down due to work and home related things, I'd like to say that I performed perfectly without any hitches and that my problems didn't hinder my performance, I did I would me lying and over appreciating myself, I'm only human, and I guess if you're reading this you probably are, so anyways let's begin.

I met up with Jackal in Weatherspoons in Paradise forum, we chatted and caught up for a bit, he laid on me the idea of putting notes in my phone about my sets after I've approached and finished with them, I though that was a fricking good idea, thanks Jackal.

My first number close was a mother and daughter set, this was my first one, I was a bit hesitate to go in since, well, I want to put it this way, I was a virgin in the ways of mom daughter sets, so Jackal persuaded me to pop my cherry (thanks Jackal), so I started talking with them, I introduced myself and got their opinions on who they thought lied more, they then started to ask me for directions to some place fancy, I stared to think and pointed them in the way to Mechu, so since they had difficulties in following my directions I told them I'd walk with them to the venue, so I left Jackal and went on my way with the two lovely ladies, I found out while talking with theme that they had come from a business convention, and were just looking to hit the town, I kinoed them and complimented them, they asked where I usually go and so I gave them the names of my usual spots, just as we approached Mechu, I asked the daughter for her number because well . . . I thought she was god damn beautiful. And so I got her number

My next number close of the night was a two set, I was with Diamonds with this one, they both graduated from university in physics and, I stopped them with a simple opinion opener, will we were speaking I found out they went to Warwick, they were like a in pua terms hb7s, I can say my kino wasn't very good, Diamonds was busy distracting the other girl while I talked with my target, I tried to compliment nut my head just want much into it, but as her friend was pulling her away, a term I learned recently from another members FR, that she was Vagblocking, I just went in and asked her for her number, and I got it, thats the end of that.

I've only written down my two successful sets, truth be told that I approached a number of sets and I found that I did things go mess up my sets, I wasntw very welcoming, I didn't smile enough, I would flake out as mind started to think, even during engagements my energy wasn't high enough, if I'm not having fun would the person in front of me, I didn't kino enough, at times I didn't kino at all, I was ejected out of sets, my negs are too harsh that I didn't know how to be all tongue in cheek about it, like I wasn't being an adorable asshole, just a asshole.

I know this hasn't be the best for me, but leaving all of my faults out there for everyone to see is to show that change is possible and that only through failure we can gain success, if could we gain success right of the bat, why would we be here.

Field Report: 5th September

Me and ICEMAN meet up in Birmingham to do some day game for a few hours. We actually did not open enough sets, I opened only about 10, as we were often distracted by our own convocations. However, this did give us time to bond a little. I also took a notepad out, to write down sets and mistakes. Lol I must have looked weird, in fact one charity worker asked why I was carrying round a pen, I think he was negging me!

The first 2 sets I opened, one a two set of brunettes (one very tall) and the other a single blonde were blown out by my opener. I was going direct, but my tonality was not strong (I could hear JACKAL’s voice in my head saying Be Louder!). We walked down to paradise forum, and I did an opinion opener on a two set of brunettes about 20, they stopped and I hooked the set, ran a couple of routines and negged well, then ejected way tool early. I in fact ejected on a high point, way too much of a pussy. ARGHHHHH. I ran my opener again on set number 4, a three set, one of which was a very hot blonde, but they politely walked off. We walked about towards the bull ring to get food and talked about game and how we open, I want to stick to indirect approach for now.

We decided to open together, almost, and run the opinion opener in turn. We hooked a couple of sets with this technique down new street, the first was rather dull and we ejected. But the second, a two set of asian girls hooked and me and ICEMAN gamed them well, I tried a new routine and it worked like a charm, I almost froze out at one point, but ICEMAN filled the time here. ICEMAN number closed but I didn’t even ask, I didn’t want her number, but I should have asked anyway, pussyed out again. ARRRRRHH… again.

As we were walking around I opened a two set of asain girls, at first from behind it looked as if they were in suits, but when I opened I realised it was a school uniform! I gamed them anyway and did some routines and they all hit and it hooked sooo hard. They started asking me a lot of questions about me and I teased and provided funny answers, later they revealed they were second year college students, I was glad as one was pretty hot. I went for the number close, she complied immediately, after a hug I left and I am pretty sure this is a solid close, and my first solid close in the game! It has hit me just now why I was able to close, firstly I made in through to comfort and established some, and secondly can’t remember this reason, fuck! Hopefully I will and I’ll edit it.

The next set we opened was a 4 set at the top of the bullring, it had two hot girls in it. As I kinoed on opening the hot blonde said don’t touch me! I plowed and ICEMAN winged after the opener, we kind of fluffed but the blonde girl was so alpha and controlling the frame and throwing out shit tests, I tried my new routine but she wouldn’t even hold her hands out and when I asked her to close her eyes she said ‘No, You might grab my boobs’. After a while of being amoged by her we ejected

ICEMAN did some sets on his own, so he can talk about them, things for next time. Always ask for number, stop ejecting early, hype my state up and stop freezing out.

FR: 27th August 2011

Well, I was quite busy with work today, and wasn't planning to come out till later, since I had a prior engagement. I got a call from Jackal to come out, and you know I couldn't just refuse the man, so off I went to the Slug.

Once I got there I caught up with Jackal and saw a two set, one HB10 brunette and another HB7 blonde. I started speaking with them with an opinion opener, I was feeling really good today, so I was kinoing more naturally that I usually would, I would usually remind myself ok I've got to look into her eyes (the brunette's eyes were blue and the blondes were blue as well), touch her arms slightly not in a too creepy way in a casual playful way, you know the stuff we as puas in training are suppose to do, I felt really good, Diamonds came in so we winged each other, we found out through talking that they both were teachers, the blonde teaches french and shes from France and the brunette teaches spanish, I stuck with the blonde and Diamonds went with the brunette, I found out she was recently divorced and hated men at that current time, we laughed about that for a while, but I felt that the conversation was driving away from what my goal was, and I realized this, I also realized that i wasn't seducing her, instead I was friending her, I did feel like it was possible for number close so I left. I can tell you. Ow that this is a huge mistake, people never do this, I can say this, I learned that if you think that oranges taste like oranges without trying them good for you, but you'll regret not having them, for all you know that could be a lie and they are apples instead, but you won't know till you take a bite. So in this case I should have gone for the number close regardless if I felt it was good or not.

I met up with jackal in the outer area of the slug, there there was a two set seated so I engaged them, I carried out my usual routine and got on with it. S I did an opinion opener and started talking about who they were, they both were HB 10/9s, again a blonde and brunette, but I saw that the brunette wasn't very involved with the conversation, our conversations drifted towards what our work was like, i couldn't remember the brunette's occupation, but I remember that the blonde was a desk police woman, I was intrigued with her work so I flowed into how she felt about it, she told me that if she saw a policeman she liked she would search his badge number to find out everything about him, I played on that saying that she wasn't respectful of privacy lol, by this time Jackal and Diamond had to call it a night so I said my good bye to them and carried on with this set, it didn't carry one much from there, they had to leave and meet up with friends, so I went in for the number close with the blonde but found out she had a boyfriend, so I said my goodbye and let them go on their way. I felt good about this set as my conversation skill were good, but I still feel I need to escalate properly and efficiently.

Now that Jackal and Diamond had left I had a but if time in my hand before I had to meet up with some other friends outside of the pua scene, I made my way to the mailbox to kill time at Bar Room Bar, I sat out side and a two set approached the table where I was sitting they said that it was directly underneath the heater, which it was, lucky me . So I saw this as an opportunity to approach them with my trusty opinion opener and so I began my solo set. I remember they pointed out that they had kids at home and that it was a night out from just the two of them, one had black hair while the other had red hair, so I said to them ah ok so your husbands are looking after them tonight, to while the black hair lady said yes to this, while the red head said that she had a sitter looking after hers, so I found out that she was single, lock, aim and fire. So I focused in her, kinoing her slowly and escalating, I was wearing my glasses at this time, and they found it fascinating they wanted to try them on, so I thought why not, and the moment they tried them on they wanted a picture with me, so each of them had a picture taken with me, now I learn from the last time I was out that this can be reversed, as I see you having your picture taken with someone or you taking pictures with other using other people's cameras and you not being in them is compliance on your end and they take control of the situation. So I said to them ok now that you've taken a picture I need to take a picture now, so I wack out my phone and get a picture taken with me and my target. After which it came to that time I had to leave to meet up with my friends so I told them I had to leave and they were headed back inside as well, I stopped the red head, by the way she was a hb9, and said that your fucking beautiful and I want your number, and surely she complied. My first solo sarge number close I'm well proud of that.

So I left after that and went to meet up with my friends, I can say that this was one of my more fun nights, one number close in a period of 2 hours but it was on my own, thanks Jackal for teaching me.

Field Report: 6th September

Me and ICEMAN meet up in Solihull today, though we later moved to Leamington spa. As I am sarging a lot at the moment (well I’ve only just started anyway), I will not include all sets, just those that are interesting and are of learning benefit.

Me and ICEMAN opened a two set, one hot blonde and a less hot brunette. We used the opinion opener and I went into a story about how my friend working at slug and lettuce was wearing a thong. They wanted to see, so they dragged us the slug, we should have lead here, and dominated the set. I shate myself, the story was a lie! So I walked up to the manger and asked if one of ICEMANs friends was working and walked back to the girl like a afc nobody lol, we left and ejected. ICEMAN commented on the mass compliance we had, which I failed to realise.

The next set we walked into the shopping centre and I saw a massive AI from HB8, I ran after her and did the sasha, well my version of it which is some marriage stuff. I had big IOIs but my game was not tight, I messed up routines but I did have a very sexual eye contact with her for about 5minutes… then I blinked lol. I asked for the number too early and ended up with a shitty email. I should have closed this set. I keep rushing number closes not qualifying or getting comfort/rapport.

We next moved to leamington spa due to lack of targets, however it was later revealed to be a bad move for the same reason! ICEMAN opened and hooked a two of black/asian girls, one of which I thought was smoking!!! He called me over to wing, the set was a lot of fluff but we had IOIs. ICEMAN ran it really, and I stood there and kept trying to come up for a reason for the number close in my head. As we ejected I knew I should ask for the number, but I had a mental barrage I couldn’t,…. but I should have, ARRRHHH, way too much of a pussy.

We had some food from tescos and as we walked down the high street a HB7 walked past and ICEMAN said massive AI! So I ran like a pua runs lol, and did my sasha, and she lapped it up, this fish was baited, hooked and ready for the reel. She complimented me, I was trying to kino a lot and I went for the number close, she said her phone was broke which was actually true, I could just tell, so I said I’d facebook her. I can’t even remember what she looks like, so I’ve just added about 10 Jess C*** lol.

My last set of the day, I saw a HB from a mile away like a pua hawk, as we were walking back to train station. I literally legged it down the high street in pursuit of pussy. I did the sasha opener and it hooked, then I stalled and just some opinion stuff, I should have qualified here and moved onto comfort/ fluff/ rapport. Then I tried the number close way too early, even though my frame was strong and she was giving massive IOIs, the hot eastern European slipped from my grasp.

Things for next time…. Stay in the fucking set, stop ejecting so early,
Don’t rush the number close, extend time in set and get the girl to qualify her and get some rapport. I also need to know how to do a number close smoothly.
Tighten up game – on freeze outs, less fluff, plow forward.
It should be my frame no one elses… well apart form ICEMANs
