firstly i smoke and im not sure if thats a good thing for a PUA it has never said anywhere in any literature i have read
i would like to get piercings and maybe a tat but im really not sure this suits my personality and so could come across as fake when im sarging which would ruin me for both the classy girls who hate that shit and the trashy girls who love that shit

how did you guys develop your avatars and is it as important as its made out to be

i would peacock like mystery and style but i honestly think its quite faggy

need ideas

Peakcocking can mean many things. I use shiny things and specific color combinations to peacock. It doesn't have to be a top hat or feather vest.

To build your avatar, figure out what you like, what defines you as a person and what an idealized version of you would be. Then- make it happen.

what colour combinations do you find helpful

No AMOG's don't really mess with me. I grew up on a farm, spent time in the military and work out, so they tend to steer clear or accept me as an AMOG. I know some of you arent built like that- the smaller guys are the most dangerous PUA of all, they're unassuming, you never even see them coming. As a guy who looks like an AMOG and I can be intimidating to guys and girls which puts me at a disadvantage (even though I am harmless!), all I can tell you is, if a man (no matter what he looks like) relates to me as an equal I won't have any issue with him. He's part of my tribe! Not arrogant, or try hard...but just two dudes, shooting the shit. Keeps it real son! LOL

I tend to go with black, red, silver things like that. I work in an office- so, I got a whole corporate vampire thing going. Black dress shirt, red tie, shiny mirrored aviators...it's not over the top and it looks like Im not trying but everyone will notice. There was a link on color psychology I found helpful color-of-your-shirt-will-affect-your-game-vt95921.html

This link is a more in depth version.

http://psychology.about.com/od/sensatio ... rpsych.htm

Basically you want to produce an air of mystery and contrast...like a walking paradox.

As far as tailoring it to you (which is the most effective way) you should go with who you are and who you'd like to be.

Computer nerd? Dress like you're from the future.

A natural trying to step it up? Dress like the worlds most interesting man

Adventure or risk taker? Go with something rugged but sophisticated, like you're Indiana Jones rival.

Avatar is only a piece to the puzzle, NOT THE PUZZLE. Women don't place near the emphasis on physical appearance as we do. Hope this helps.

To build avatar you need to build identity first. By identity I don't mean being alpha male and that kinda stuff, I mean 2 or 3 things that defines you. Those can be your job and your hobbies. And you can go from there. Being congruent is the most important thing when it comes to your avatar. And looking like Mystery sucks. And Style doesn't do peacocking.

Best to really keep it simple ya know shirt and jeans maybe get a few rings some bracelets I wouldn't go down the whole tattoo and piecing route just to pick up girls unless that's someone you're interested in yourself.

I feel you man. I was the same a week ago. I thought I already looked OK. Had normal hair and a mustache and goatee.

Turns out, that wasn't attractive at all. So I shaved the mustache, kept the goatee, cut my hair dyed the front of my hair red. And whaddaya know, 'm loving this new look and, I don't want to brag, but I look more like a rocker than anything else. Gimme the tight jeans and I'm done.

I also got myself peacocking gear, stuff like a cheap cool necklace, two cheap rings, and two bracelets. That's more than enough.

Mess around with your hair. More often than not, a new hairstyle will do wonders. And with new I don't mean just cut your hair, I mean cut your hair in a new way you've never had them before.

smoking you are killing 75% or more of the female prospects, most girls i know will not date a guy that smokes, forget all these peakcoking theory, hit the gym, dress your best, look your best, and get the right skills, i do not like mm, i think is weak just my opinion...Forget the piercing and the tatoos, you are just eliminating prospects by doing that...

cheers guys, great advice

i think im going to simply try and be as fashionable as possible and wear more vibrant colours, i need to be careful about red because i have ginger hair though.

i think this will allow me a fair crack at the most desirable cool girls a cool necklace and a haircut would probably do wonders aswell as hitting the gym
feeling pretty good about this and have started shopping

Concerning avatars.

They are fun to play with for a while but be careful they will turn into tall blue halfnaked monsters.

What I am saying is that your avatar should not be anything that you wanna play just to look cool or be cool. Getting a tat just to impress someone if you dont even like tats, thats just bad. Smoking, apart from being bad for you, it doesnt really matter, I know smokers who close well and I know nonsmokers who do too. So go for whatever you want.

For my avatar I sat down and thought about what I thought was cool, then I played that role and it worked. but I realized that I was becoming my avatar, not good since it wasnt a person I could like.

Basically, your avatar should be the person you would want to be if you could be anyone in the world. Because the beauty of it is that you will become this person. So yes, your avatar that you are playing is yourself coming back from the future to give you advice on how to live your life.

Make sure you choose a person that you can be proud of.

As for peacocking, yes, it is fun if you like that stuff but it is in no way necessary for pickup. I have done some of my best pickups with a crappy shirt and a runny nose from the flu and I have failed totally in a fancy coat. Truth is, if you got skills, it doesnt matter if you wear an Armani suit or a pink bunnysuit, you can pull it off anyway.
I rarely have anyone making fun of me for my clothing because whatever I wear I like, and it shows. Wear stuff that you would want to wear but dont dare wearing. Stop not daring and do it. Wear stuff you like. If people dont like your clothes they can go fck themselves, it is your life and your clothes right.
