A friend of a friend of mine has just come out of a long term relationship and before I started reading PUA material I really liked her but I didn't want to be "that guy" who goes around ruining relationships, it's one of my values that I am not willing to change (only exception is girls with boyfriends who treat them like garbage who deserve to be treated better).

Now she is out of a relationship I want to escalate things but I don't want a relationship as I am enjoying becoming a more confident version of myself and don't want to tie myself down in a relationship. At the same time I don't really want to f-close and leave her because she is in my outer circle of friends.

As you might guess from the wall of text above I am confused what to do!

approach her, flirt with her, tease her, shoot the shit with her, do some funs things with her and let nature take it's course.

Have those things I mentioned be the goal. Don't have some kind of predetermined end-game like #close/k-close/f-close be the goal.

If you make interacting with her and enjoying yourselves together be the goal then nature will take it's course and nature will determine where things go.

Well, at this point you have to make your decision.

You want her or you'd rather not want her?

Because that's what it boils down to.

Ask yourself that question, and whatever answer you get, you go with that.
