Text or Call?
Generally, I know calling is more assertive, but is it different here at college since everyone is always doing something and may not have time to talk on the phone (I know I don't)?
Is it the type of thing that will change as the weeks progress or one of the options a definitive winner over the other?
Also, some of the hot girls I got numbers from have a lot of guys texting as well, so would it be better to call in order to stand out from the flock or beat them at their own game via texting?

Not every guy has the guts to call so you may stand out more. Plus calling allows you to show a strong voice and confidence in your speech, it also challenges you because you have to respond on the spot while texting lets you think a while for a response.
