Hi, new to the forum, and to the whole PUA jargon and vibe, but not to the game, not to seduction.

I was definitely a hopeless loser as a young man, and wasted a lot of life energy on self-loathing and loneliness. I wish that something akin to the PUA community had existed back into those long-ago (you want to know how long ago, watch the movie Dazed and Confused for cues), before the internet. I was the kind of guy who was semi-hot, smart, friends with the cool guys, got tons of IOIs, and was way too anxious to ever do anything about it.

That lasted into my late twenties when I met a very cool girl who wanted me and let me know in a way even I couldn't miss and then became my wing-woman and best teacher for the next several years.

Well, after I got over the "you got to get laid" thing--doing that few hundred times with a few dozen beautiful women will do that--what I realized was that even though I had plenty of FBs, and often an (open relationship) GF, if I wasn't out there gaming, at least a couple of times a month, I was bored.

The thing I realized, is that game is fun. Not just hooking up. Not just success, but the game itself. It's not about affirmation or ego, it's about moving through the world, putting energy out there and getting it returned. It's like being a rock star/comedian/public lecturer without a stage--everywhere is the stage. I'm entertaining myself, not at anyone's expense, but kind of constantly moving improv, everyone is invited to join.

Some particularly fun things:

* Picking up new wing men on the fly
* Opening the "bitch" in a set of hired guns--and either de-bitching her, or (as often happens), having one of the others rush in to play nice girl
* Direct approaching multiples
* Inventing new personas just for the hell of it
* Going from 100% game to 100% serious on a thin dime
* Opening with "Nice shoes, wanna fuck?"
* Playing the "And yet," game... (i.e., "Let's play a game--you say something random about me, doesn't have to be true, just make it up, and I respond with... And yet..." HB: Wow, you're kind of weird. Me: And yet I love puppies. (Meaningful look back at her, she blushes.) HB: Uh... I don't know, um... Me: And yet know you want to have guacamole with me. HB's Friend: Shut up! Me: And yet you shouldn't worry, you can come to.

Game is fun.
