I am a 23 year old in my first year of college, before studying I was in a 5 year relationship, so I am new to PUA. Most of the girls are straight out of high school and already have established social circles, because I am much older I don't know anyone and find it hard to meet people.
I live in Australia so people can legally drink alcohol at 18, and most of these girls spend their weekends getting drunk at clubs. I have been in a relationship for like 5 years and never really partied much during that time, and most of my friends are in their late 20's and don't go out anymore. I want to get out there and meet and mingle with these girls, but how do I break the barrier of being the older guy?

Is being older an advantage?
Do younger women even like mature guys?
Will pick up not work on 18-19 yr olds, or is age an issue?

I think the majority of people at college think I am 18-19 because they seem surprised if I tell them i'm 23.
If girls like older guys, Should I be telling them I'm older straight away or let them continue believing i am there age? If they think i am young, I will just be another immature AFC to them.

i havent much experience with this, but the players at college i noticed, if you look at their pictures, they get hair cuts like every three weeks and their neck hair is always trimmed to the skin.. if you groom very well, and dress up a little, you'll do much better. if you dont, try hard, and you wont get much out of it.. are there any clubs in your college, like a dance club? take some lessons or just go to a club meeting and if you become a regular the girls who happen to wonder in there will look up to you and want to get your attention..
