I responded to her last text with, "Ha! I'll see you this weekend.".

I am not going to contact her again unless she initiates. If she flakes on coming down here this weekend she is completely done. I would even think about cutting her off as a chick friend again. I have no female friends in my life, and I like it that way. They try to get through the cracks to just drain you. I have an entire college campus on my doorstep, so losing a chick friend that lives over 80 miles away is no big loss. NEXT!!!!!!!!

I hate to argue, but if you didnt give a shit about this girl, you wouldn't be analyzing every single word you and her say in the midst of this conversation. It isn't an issue of not giving a fuck about her, it's about realizing that nothing she says, and nothing YOU say as well, will impact your lives in the long term in this situation. I also disagree on it being bad to have female friends. There are plenty of cool chicks out there who are fine with being friends with a guy, even capable of winging better than most dudes.

It's okay to argue, but I only give a shit about banging her not really care about her in general. I honestly just don't feel that much attraction myself, but I haven't gotten laid in awhile.

I haven't contacted her since Wednesday evening, and I just got the text from her, "I"m probably not coming down there this weekend.".

I was going to not respond, but I think I'm going to give a simple, "okay" or "k". I think not responding implies you actually do care after you've been talking to someone for a little bit after three years of no contact.

I will now put this situation to bed.
