The short story is this girl messaged me on facebook, and asked why we didn't talk. Without really worrying about it I said some b.s. and gave her my number. I now am in the predicament where I've led a girl on and I'm pretty sure she wants to be more then friends. I'm not interested in a relationship, or even her really, so how do I tell her I'm just not interested. We've only been texting for like 4 days so it shouldn't be that much rapport built up...but here's the catch: She goes to my high school and I want to let her down easy so i don't get the reputation of a douchebag, and also because to be honest I just feel like a jerk. Right now I'm just giving her the cold shoulder, but I feel like there's a better way. Any advice?

getting rid of a girl you don't want around is easy, just don't call or txt or ask her out or anything and within a day or two someone else will be hitting on her and she'll forget all about you.

The easiest thing to do with a gal you're not interested in is........nothing.

If you've only gone out like once, then do nothing. However, if you've been going out for a few weeks I always tell girls straight up I'm not interested in them anymore. They deserve to know, after all.

Im straightforward, I would just tell the girl that I am sorry to say it, but I am not interested in her in that way. That's me.
