Do all these websites work?

Seems like they are all a bunch of bullshit, I have never heard of anyone with any success on them. Mostly filled with fake profiles and bullshit. I registered for a few and they are a bunch of garbage. Anyone have any success?


I don't want to feel like tool going on these, but I need to get more practices and the bars around here are looking slim on girls. Any good recommendations?

Okcupid is just a dating website.

The others....geez, got a real cougar fetish do we? Most of the "hook-up" websites out there actually pay people to message you and keep the subscription going.

Normal dating website, Match, Okcupid, Plentyoffish are for the most part legit. However, you damn sure better have a profile that screams DHV or you will be ignored. Do not rely solely on online dating, use it to increase the amount of girls coming into your life, but keep going out and sarging.

M2 hit it pretty square on, so I don't know what more opinion I could give.

Hook-up websites are usually scams. They will drain you of money.

Dating websites usually have lots of ugly/prudish girls on there who are looking for mental stimulation without having to meet you. Like a 'Choose Your Own Adventure' to them, or an interactive romance novel. They often don't want to meet, or they have some issue people around them know about, so they have to look elsewhere. Or just low self-confidence. Don't get me wrong. Some people have had excellent experiences with it. Fine. And even I have had some good luck with these sites, I must admit. Especially PoF. But it will drain your time, and in the end, doesn't usually work out to anything.

I joined a dating website. Even forked over money for a three month membership. Completely regret it. I joined more out of curiousity than anything. I've been on it for a week and no real success. But to be honest I haven't really put in the effort to make it succesful. I send maybe 4 messages a day. Last reply was from a girl with russian origin and smart as shit (really high education, its intimidating). But after a few messages I dont really know what to say anymore. Shes almost ten years older than me and obviously on a different level with work and education.

Thing with me is that when I meet people I get more positive responses. I'm not that bad looking, know how to dress and know good body language. But when I talk on the phone or via the internet I get more negative responses. Could also be that people are more direct on the internet. Somehow I know more things to say in real life (and I have approach fear). Maybe because I can see peoples responses and adjust on the fly.

I went real life sarging this week with a buddy and managed to get 3 numbers and we didn't even really try out many women. So far I got nothing with online dating. But its really style I think. Some people probably feel more comfortable on the internet. Plus being in a bar is also not that cheap. I have atleast 2 drinks if I stay for more than a hour. Do that 2 times a week it will cost some dough.

Craigslist use to work. I've met and slept with about 30 women on there. But since the CL killer it's been real tough.

Guys the best website for pick up is plentyoffish.com hands down.... Nobody else comes even close...

Man, I don't think I will ever pay for a dating website again. I've paid two. Never. Ever. Again.

I wish these spam guys would realize it's 2011. People aren't idiots. Well my buddy is. He joined one of them and was dumbfounded at all the response from 21 year old 10's.

I had to explain to him for 1 hour all the red flags with each profile. So I guess there are still some idiots out there.

Even on Craigslist. I don't get it. How do these guys survive? Does spam really pay that well?

I got to say Match.com works best, cause the girls on there are serious about finding someone. POF is only good for white guys, Craigslist only use it if you got money to spend on hookers.

I've tried pof out before, and I got laid a few times. That said, I will never go back. It's just too slow and too much work. Not to mention most of the girls on there are ugly, so you have to filter through a million of them to find some bangable ones.

It's so much faster to just go to the store or mall and find a girl.

I have never used any of the websites but I have some friends that do, and have had some success from it. They advice they give is that "You get what you pay for, and every girl that lists themselves on those sites are there for a reason." Also beware of spam and bots, they can lead to some nasty scams.

POF sucks not that many chicks to choose from and the hottest ones are usually fake...Websites may be useful when it's cold and snowy but when the weather is 60F and above go out in the real world that's the best option.

Like someone mentioned before online takes a lot of work and time, good luck...
