anyway, just thought i would let you guys know for the sake of man kind.......if you want to pick up a girl....be nice, confident, look her in the eyes, respectful, show interest but not too much, smile, dont use lines (there obvious), treat her friends well ( so her friends can say how nice you are when you leave for a sec) be funny without telling jokes...dont make fun of other people to impress or make her laugh ( thats weak), and just be yourselfs......every girl is not gonna like you but... this way you wont be laughed at for weeks behind your back....than even if you dont hook up with them that night the next time you see her and her friends you can walk up for a quick hello and they'll all smile(cause you were cool and nice last time) .....other girls will see that and when you decide to talk to them they will know your an ok guy and not some tool who goes to a bar with some lines he wants to waste their time with..........get it?.......you can build on different scenes every week...you wont end up eating at 3a.m. with your buddy talking about all the girls you (talked) to....you'll be inside some girl

LOL. Words of a AFC to the hilt. Let's be honest. The only reason you have this "pick of the girls" is because you are a bartender. I bounce at a bar too, and I know exactly the benefits that go along with being employed in a popular bar. In fact, I got the job JUST for those benefits.

1) You don't use cheesy lines (unless you are beginning and need help)

2) PUA isn't about making fun of other people or insulting them.. (that's a DLV) It's about projecting your value to others around you. You do that by demonstrating the characteristics that women like which happen to be humor, status, and style.

3) Don't talk down on something you have 0 comprehension about. It works, and it isn't totally about "picking up girls". It's about giving men confidence to go after and get the things they want in life. It's about being Alpha.

4) I bet if I take you out of your bar and to a town where nobody knows you, a true PUA would destroy you in picking up girls. PUA shows you the game plan long before the coin is tossed in the air, and knowing is half the battle. It's up to the PUA to go out and execute it to perfection. Calibration is the key.

5) don't mistake a noob for a PUA. Huge difference. A PUA will walk away with those girls, and yours if he so chose it.

Actually, it got us talking about style and then we critique other people and they compliment me on mine and they end up being more attracted. They like the fact that I care about being the best person I can be and that I actually improve myself to be better in life.

The people you see "TRYING" aren't pick up artists then, or at least not yet if they are trying to work on their game. Its not an instant change thing, it was said to take on average about 6 months before you really start to see results, then after that it might take years before you can just get any girl you want. Watch some real PUAs in action if you can find some videos and you'll see the difference. Real PUAs might use some canned material, but a lot of guys prefer to just do everything improv.

Well, status is in the eye of the beholder. Future plans can equal status, but if you don't have humor, then you just limited yourself to a few select women.

Sure you might pick some up, but my guess is a PUA would pick up 5 times the number you do. (if not more) notice the key word "PUA", and not a PUA wanna-be-in-training.

haha. you know this guy is interested because he took the time to make a forum thread and sign up and everything. no denying that. he is at least a little interested but a bit skeptical. i think you have some misconceptions buddy. we arent a group of virgins who hide in their moms basement and talk about girls all day. we are average guys who are frustrated with our lives because we know who we are and we know that we can do better. we help bring each other up and ultimately we are better people. no matter how nice, friendly, etc like you said we should be, if you are a social loser, it does not matter. you will get walked over by any good looking girl or guy for that matter. we learn to be confident and strong. we learn how to control our frame and use it to portray to others (including women) who we really are. honestly though... i would have dropped out of school and been a 40 year old virgin in a fast food restaurant if it wasnt for some of these guys. i literally owe my life to them. i have the confidence to go up to anyone now and talk to them and create friends and start relationships. maybe if your around women all day as a bartender you think you are doing something. sure maybe you are. but when you see those guys standing against the walls by themselves, have you ever wondered why they arent in your shoes? have you seen the guys who can come up and just steal girls from you? you see... we learn to treat women with respect and be on a level of interaction that is above anything that they will experience in the club with any other guy. read up a little about it before you start knocking some of these guys. you will be surprised how much you can learn
