I was in the college bookstore looking for a book I needed to buy- found it and held on to it. Then a girl approached me noticing the book and offered to sell it to me for cheaper because she already took the class. We talked about school while walking to her car I paid her, gave her a hug, got her name, but no number...she mentioned she had a boyfriend when I told her my name because we shared the same name ugh. What could I have done to further escalate despite her being in a relationship?

Remember that girls have no boyfriend until they start physically rejecting your kino using their BF as an excuse.

I just feel like I could've done more because we parted and I left empty-handed. I just don't know how to take it further from meeting to number close. Just today, I walked past this guy apparently talking to a girl he didn't know and I heard her saying "..but I have a boyfriend" and he was like "c'mon, don't be like that" or something. Would've loved to jump in and save her but had no idea how to go about that.
